Follow these tips and you WILL lose weight/strip body fat!

Do you want to lose weight and strip away unwanted body fat?
Below are 3 SUPER SIMPLE tips that I use to help clients lose body fat and change their body shape. They don’t require any extreme or restrictive diets, crazy workouts, or you spending lots of money on supplements.
1) MOVE MORE THROUGHOUT THE DAY:
It sounds so simple but not enough people do it. I am not talking about exercise, yes that is important, but the movement you do outside the gym everyday will play a huge role in your fat loss efforts.
After working out anywhere from 2-4 hours per week, you need to start looking at the bigger picture… why kill yourself for a couple of hours in the gym and waste the other 160+ hours of the week outside of the gym? By making the conscious effort to move more in as much of those hours as possible, you can make a HUGE difference.
Simply parking further from the shops, walking on your lunch break or taking the dog for a walk in the morning or evening will help you burn more energy. It may not seem like a massive difference in one day, but add that all up over the course of a week, month, year etc. and see what a difference it can make, as well as how much better you feel.
The important thing to remember is consistency, so find a way you can fit that into your daily routine.
2) EXERCISE A MINIMUM OF 2-3 TIMES PER WEEK:
This is where the exercise side of things is going to play an important role. Exercising is not only going to have a positive benefit on your body shape, but also your health, well-being and ‘mindset’ as well.
A mixture of both resistance and cardiovascular training is going to be important here. (Not just cardio training, a topic I have touched on in a recent blog post).
3) LEARN PORTION CONTROL
Another important thing when It comes to fat loss is learning and understanding portion control. This is a skill you need to learn if you want to achieve results, and then sustain them longer term.
You need to be in a calorie deficit (burn more energy than you take in) to lose body fat. If you don’t understand portion control, then it will be very hard for you to stay in that deficit. If you can’t stay in that deficit, you won’t lose body fat.
If you find that counting calories is too much or a little daunting to begin with don’t worry! You can use a simple method with your hands as a way of measuring things.
For each meal you can aim for the following:
MALES:
1 serving of protein = 2 palms
1 serving of carbs = 2 cupped hands
1 serving of fat = 2 thumbs
FEMALES:
1 serving of protein = 1 palm
1 serving of carbs = 1 cupped hand
1 serving of fat = 1 thumb
